BOTANICAL NEWVORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 05150091 San Gabriel Mountains: San Dimas Experimental Forest, Tanbark Flats, on both sides of San Dimas Creek canyon that runs through the staff facilities area (Glendora 7-5’ Q.: 34° 12'22"N 117*45’46"W, ±100m; TIN R8W S6, N/2). Alt; 817m/2680ft Canyon bottom with chaparral, southern oak woodland & some riparian; dominants include Quercus agrifolia, Rubus ursinus, Ehrhartia calycim, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Artemisia douglasiana, Ceanothus oUganthus, and Ribes catifornicum Last fire 2002.
