Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Cordillera Prov. 2.3 km W of the Abapó-Santa Cruz highway, the turnoff on the N side of Abapó, on N side of Río Grande and about 40 m above it, within easternmost foothills as opening out to the east onto the plain.

Dry forest on slopes. With Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Piptadenia viridiflora, Muntingia calabura, Achatocarpus praecox, Capparis retusa.

Treelet 4 m. tall. Corolla white; anthers yellow; fruit bright orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
