Beech-maple Mesic Forest. with Betula lenta, Fagus grandifolia, Hamamelis virginiana, and Osmundastrum cinnamomeum. rare.

Description
herb. Plants growing in approx. a 4-meter square patch in a forested area next to a Red Maple Swamp. Stems pink, flowers pink and yellow. Observed pollination by a Bombus impatiens bee.
