    United States of America. Florida. Palm Beach Co. Cypress Creek Natural Area. North of 706 / W Indiantown Road, East of Mack Dairy Road; ca. 30.7 km NNW of downtown West Palm Beach.

  • Habitat

    Complex of mesic flatwoods, wet flatwoods, hydric hammock, wet prairie, depression marsh, dome swamp, and blackwater stream. Growing in treed mesic flatwoods, with dense Serenoa repens. With Pinus elliotti var. densa, Pterocaulon pycnostachyum, Spiranthes cf. praecox, Polygala lutea, Polygala ramosa, Dichanthelium spp., and Lyonia fruticosa. Prefers slightly wetter microhabitats, but the site is currently dry. Sandy soil.
