Approximately 10.2 air mites north of Kernvilfe. From
Kernvtlie, approximately 11.4 miles north on Mountain
Highway 99, then turn right on the aqueduct road that
is signed “salmon," At the first intersection (with the
Rincon 4x4 road), make a ridiculously sharp left turn. At
the second intersection, keep to the right and follow the
road .56 miles, then follow left (southwest) turnoff for
.04 mites. Hike Rincon Trait for 1.2 miles.

Oak woodland on north-facing slope. Growing in otherwise
montane chaparral ecosystem, supported by Salmon Creek
and other runoff from upslope. Next to dirt trail.
