Approximately 10.2 air miles north of Kernville. From
Kernville, approximately 11.4 miles north on Mountain
Highway 99, then turn right on the aqueduct road that
is signed ‘'salmon." At the first intersection (with the
Rincon 4x4 road), make a ridiculously sharp left turn. At
the second intersection, keep to the left and foilow the %
road to the aqueduct (approx. 0.87 miles on dirt road |
after leaving Mtn Hwy 99). Hike approx. 0.08 mijes *
northeast, cross to north side of Salmon Creek-

Growing on southeast'facing slope, uphill from Salmon
Creek. Montane chaparral, dry, with granitic boulders.
Associated species: Hesperoyucca whtpplei, Eriogonum
fasciculatum, Adenostoma fasdcufatum, Quercus sp., Marah 3
hórrida, Pellaea mucronata, Dipterostemon capñatus
