Cloud forest. With Reus, Ponapea, Flagella ia, Ixora, Elaeocarpus, Antidesma,
Pouteria, Astronidium kusaianum, rich fern understory with Angiopteris,
Bolbitis, Tectaria, Asplénium, terrestrial and epiphytic moss abundant.
Rhizome terrestrial sub-erect, 8 cm diameter dark brown with dark brown-red
scales, pinnae pale green, uncommon.
Elevation: 550 m
