dike and floodplain of the Rio Grande, E end of road from
Montero through Okinawa.
17° 10'58”S, 62°46’54”W. alt 270m.
About a dozen plants along slope §f dike, obviously not
planted. Short-grassy, grazed, unshaded. Stems dark purple.
Corolla yellow-green with purple tinges, double; one with a
Cvclocephala beetle within. Fruit pale green, fracturing
irregularly; seeds light brown with prominent creamy
elaeosome.
