Salt panne. In the last few years Phragmites australis s.s. that
occurs on the margins of the salt panne have been herbicided.
The main salt panne is thinly vegetated with low herbs
including Diplachne fusca ssp. fascicularis, Cyperus
odoratus, and Atriplex prostrata.
