BOSQUE DE PINOS—ENCINOS. Slopes on edge of huge
canyon, with Quercus, Clethra, Alnus acuminata ssp.
arguta, A. jorullensis and approaching the lower limit
of Pinus patula as a common tree.
A few trees along stream. Leaves of a few trees
emerging, other trees still leafless; no flowers.
