Note: In "The Pyrenomycetes Described by J.B. Ellis" by M. Barr. et al. 1996, it is said that Anthostomella mortuosa is a synonym of two accepted species, A. chionostoma and A. tomicoides, depending on the host plant. Unfortunately, a clear statement about the examined specimen "on old Polygonum" is missing.
