area. North side of Daxue Shan between Zhongdian and
Xiangcheng. 28°35538”E, 99°50’49WN; 4100-4300 m. Mixed
Abies-Larix-Picea-Juniperus forest with large Rhododendron and
open talus slopes and meadows. Among rocks in open. Petals
white with slight purple tinge; anthers black.
