Aspect southeast. On exposed bluffs. Open alpine meadows dominated by Festucs ovina ingrata and Poa secunda and interspersed with Abies bifolia and Tsuga mertensiana. Associated species including Eriogonum flvum, Arenica cordifolia, and Lupinus sp. Uncommon. Substrate metmorphic.
