Flat, Pinus palustris with prescribed burning, and more
shmbby areas near power line clearing. Cliflonia
momphylla. Ilex glabra, Lyonia fruticosa, Cyrilla
racemiflora.
Shrub U m. tall, in loose clump of many stems; twigs
arching, with the leaves held nearly erect as is the fruit.
Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw,
MEXUw, RSAw.
