Cultivated at IRB (Institut de Recherche et Develepment,
formerly ORSTOM), Cayenne, along route de Montabo
4°56’42”N? 52Q19’00”W. alt 14 m.
Trained as a much-branched shrub, 2 m. tall, with a few
wand-like young stems longer. Flowers odorless (11:00
A.M.); conrfla in bud with 5 prominent dimples, opening
whitish yellow, eventually i darker and more orangish
yellow, with purple lines within.
