Sponsored by the Cary Arboretum of the New York Botanical Garden, TTCC13 South Central SIBERIA UDÖJLV (Region of LAKE BAIKAL) a) Rocky open Populus suaveolens—Abies sibirica—Picea obovata—Pinus sylvestris montane mixed forests along Slyudyanka R., with Aconitum czekanovskyi, Delphinium elatum, etc. Alt. 1000-14Q0m h) Lush moist to wet herbaceous montane— subalpine meadows and streamsides, with Delphinium elatum, Aconitum septentrionale {*= excel sum) , Salix krilovii, Epilobitim angustifo1ium, Cirsium heterophyllum. Alt. 1000-1330m c) Exposed dry rocky slopes in valley with Rhododendron chrysanthum, Vaccinium myrtillus, Solidago dahurica (virga-aurea), Sibbaldia procumbens, Dryopteris carthusiana, Carex globularis. Alt. 1300m Steep, wooded marble cliffs and slopes iffS* 150m above valley, with Salix vestita, Mertensia sibirica, Aconitum sukaczevii (topotype?), Asplénium viride, Woodsia.
