    On whitish sandstone outcrops above creek. Pinus ponderosa, Populus tremuloides, Lupinus argenteus palmeri, Abies, Taraxacum, Senecio integerrimus, Prunus virginiana, Achillea millefolium, Phlox longifolia, Mertensia franciscana, Smilacina stellata, Ribes cereum, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Penstemon lentus albiflorus, Potentilla gracilis, Juniperus communis, Clematis columbiana, Aquilegia caerulea, Viola, Phlox hoodii, Arctostaphylos patula, Erigeron kachinensis, Geranium caespitosum, Hymenoxys argentea, Cirsium, Quercus gambelii, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Lathyrus, Eriogonum alatum.

    Low woody shrub, only 33 cm in height, stems reddish-brown, brittle, leaves brownish-green, flowers whitish-pink. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
