Locality Eniwetok Atoll, Japtan Island.
Habitat flat coral sand toward inner beach, becoming more and more rocky
toward outer beach and passage; vegetation, much disturbed by
bombs and bulldozers, is basically a brushy*forest of Scaevola, Pi-
snnia; Guettarda and Ochrosia, with some Morinda and scattered
Pandanus; inner portion cleared and planted to coconuts.
Abundant, climbing over everything.
