Smooth, creeping, herbaceous vine. Leaves alternate, deltoid-ovate, variously lobed
but commonly with two prominent basal lobes, acute, petioles slender and longer than the
blades. Flowers purplish red.
for the edible tubers (9667). Niue is noted for the fine quality
produced, some of which are exported to the New Zealand markets, presented to
