    Flat plain with serras (mesas) and intersected with streams. Open cerrado vegetation, sandy soil, high insolation. Occasional small trees. Grasses and sedges dominate. Occasional wet seeps.

  • Description

    Herb of 80cm.; heads of small light orange flowers; subtending bracts of inflorescence covered long orange hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
