1 mile east-northeast of the town of Ham Lake. Found near the southwestern
shoreline of Ham Lake (ID 02005300), a 150 acre mesotrophic basin situated in
fairly level to rolling tenain in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. The
majority of shoreline is 7yp/ia-fringed; Chara cf. contraria common, especially on
north side..Water clarity good. Water levels low. Individuals found entangled in a
drifting mass of submerged vegetation. Threw a sampling rake multiple times in the
vicinity (~1.7 meters deep) and did not locate additional individuals. Associates:
Nymphaea odorata, Myriophyllum spicatum, Lemna trisulca, Ceratophyllum
demersum, Potamogetonpusillus, Utricularia gibba. Elevation: 273 m.
