6 miles north-northwest of Ortonville. Big Stone Lake State Park. Individuals
abundant within quaky, open water pools of fen. Most individuals submerged in up
to 5 centimeters of depth; some slightly emerged above waterline and drying out.
Pool margins with associates Carex hystericina, Eleocharis erythropoda, Triglochin
palustris, Typha angustifolia, T. latifolia. Other associates include Carex prairea, C.
lasiocarpa, C. aquatilis, Schoenoplectus pungens, S. acutus, Eupatorium
maculatum. Elevation: 310 m.
