Field Char: Large canopy tree c. 30 m tall; outer
bark light brown, smooth, inner bark pale tan;
white sap from bark and roots; leaves
moist-textured, coriaceous, glossy dark green.
Notes; Single sighting.
Locality; Morobe Province: Herzog Mountains,
Gabensis logging track.
Habitat: Foothill forest with mixture of
lowland and low montane taxa, in old
growth on Crestline of buttress ridge.
