Flowers with 3 green leaf-like petals. Sepals
green and fused. Leaflets coriaceous with a sweet
vegetative odor, primary and secondary veins
yellow. Bark peeling easily from trunk.
Awa name(in Spanish); Copal bianco
utility: Construction. A softer wood for boards,
square beams, support beams. Not used for
firewood as it produces to much ash.
