Vine-like to 3 in. Stem sub-succulent, pink.
Sepals green often with red margin. Corolla
internally bright yellow with obscure red veins,
especially below; externally pale yellow, with
very prominent salmon-red veins.
PROV. CHIMBORAZO: Canon of the rio Chanchan, about 5 km. north of
Huigra; 5,000-6,500 ft. elev. (Moist forested valleys in the afternoon fog-
belt.)
