With water worn horizontally bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, expodes rock with water-fall. Open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas.

Description
Prostrate subshrub with stems from a tap root. stems reddish. Leaves dark green, reddish-tinged. Corolla pale whitish-pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
