Tree, about U m. tall; stem about lj.0 cm* in
diameter) flowers 'white; fruit up to 8 cm. or more
long, becoming white; leaves used for medicine, the
roots furnish a dye. ^n open forest near Riechel-
mann!s Fuai plantation near the center of the island.
