P h y t o g e o g r. v a 1 u e:	A plant of connection of the
Mediterranean and lrano-Turanian regions, penetrating into the
Eurosibirian-Boreoamerican region.
We did not find this segetal plant in any natural associa-
tion in Palestine. Its distribution in this country is chiefly limited
to the mountain districts of the Med. territories.
