Moist semi-deciduous forest with many lianas. Humus of topsoil up to 20cm deep. Avg.of ISOOmm/y rain. Small to large tree, 32m tall. Round, straight bole. Hard wood. Small buttresses. Fibrous, smooth, gray-brown bark. Slash brown or reddish to yellow, darkens. White latex. Simple, narrowly elliptic leaves; margin entire, apex acuminate. Hairs simple, soft, brown, copious. S.
