a bit rough, brown-grey,locally with
conspicuous black lenticellike struc-
ture.Living bark reddish-brown, up to
15 mm. thick, exuding white sticky la-
- tex. Vood soft to medium hard, creamy
or very pale yellowish-brown. Leave«
V leathery, glossy, dark green above,
with rufous indumentum'4beneath.
Calyx covered with a cigar-brown ru- !
fous indumentum. Petals greenish-
white. Fruits abit apple-like, 55 x 60 ,
mm., greenish-yellow to orange-yellow.
