granites, gneisses and schists exposed;
white or yellowish sandy or loamy soils.
Montane scrub with Cussonia, Ficus,
Acacia, Dichrostachys, Combretum, Com-
miphora, etc., largely degraded by
cultivation, fuel cutting, etc.
