CAMEROON, CENTRAL PROVINCE, Yaounde. c.3°52’N, H°3rE Herb, up to 75 cm. Stems green, angular. Loaves green above, light green beneath. Flowers in groups. Flowers greenish white. Fruits erect, up to 2 cm long, green, bright red when ripe. Uses: Condiment. Cultivated in the collection garden of the Department of Agriculture, ENSA, Nkolbisson, Cameroon. Seed origin Westphal 9827, bought on the Messa market, Yaounde. Associated materials: Spirit collection [fruits]. 05036972
