Ngorongoro Conservation Area, 15 km Northwest of Endulen village in savanna grassland along dry riverine dominated by Acacis tortilis, classified as lowland "olpurkel" by the Maasai. Information given by Lepilal Ole Nakuroi and Peter Metele, warriors ca. (35° 12' E 3° 7' S). Alt. 1700 m. Apr 27,1993 Low shrub, flowers white. Maasai name: olosida kutuk (olosida ~ sweet, kutuk ~ mouth) Used for construction of walls of the hut to plaster cattle dung on, Eaten by cattle.
