On coastal flats in full sun. In well-drained soil of coastal sand. Native and
abundant. Succulent Karoo.
Annual, many stemmed herb of 40 cm high. Simple, finely devided leaves
alternate, with strong herby smell when crushed. Capitulums 6-7 mm in
diameter, clustered at branch tips, yellow disc-florets, ray florets absent.
