Subtropical evergreen broadleaf forest
Disturbed by felling.
Secondary forest dominated by Lithocarpus, Schima, Machilus,
and Helicia
Shrub ca. 1.5 m tall. Flower buds green, but flowers apparently
to be white. Occasional. Growing in forest.
In loam on decomposed granite.
