Habitat
Expansive wet marsh with standing water. Likely fresh water. Growing on small tussock of plant material (Sphagnum and decaying Phragmities & Typha). With Baccharis halimifolia, Lobelia puberula, Hibiscus moscheutos. Persicaria sp. (large with deep magenta flowers), Phragmites australis, Iris versicolor, Typha (latifolia?), Symphyotrichum sp. (white ray flowers), and Thelypteris palustris.

Flowers white, fragrant. Leaves large and lanceolate. A few stems seen, not common. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
