    Growing in wet Sphagnum mat at the edge of an old quarry. Within a Fagus-Quercus-Acer-Carya forest (the Fagus grandifolia trees are all dying from Beech Leaf Disease).

    Flowers pure white, faintly fragrant, labellum white to very pale yellow adaxially. Uncommon, population of ca. 20 stems in immediate area. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
