ETHIOPIA, HARERGE, Awale road, lower escarpment area
SE of Dire Dawa. On limestone, on bank of wadi,
c. 9°29' N, 41°55' E Alt: 1470m
Crooked shrubby tree, about 5 m high, bark pale grey. Twigs
dark green, petioles often purple tinged, hairy. Leaves glabrous,
dark green above, pale green beneath.
Inflorescence and calyx pale green. Corolla, filaments and style
white, anthers brown. Developing fruits shiny, bright green,
bright orange at maturity.
