Ichium auberianum Webb & Berthelot
Branched from a semi-succulent, almost parsnip-like
taproot* Flowers light "blue. Growing in loose volcanic
cinders, with Spartocytlbus. Descurainia. Chrysanthemum.
A very restricted and distinctive endemic. At ca. 2,300
meters, Arenas Hegras, south of El Portillo, caldera of
El Teide*
