On gentle western hill slope of disturbed pasture in foil sun. In well-drained soil
of sandstone/dolerite loam. Native and abundant. Grassland.
Annual herb of 30 cm high with tuberous taproot. Simple leaves alternate but
often radicle, glabrous, leaf margins entire to dentate. Yellow disc florets m a
capitnlnm, ray florets absent.
