Fynbos; well-drained gravel soil, quartzite, in full sun.
Restionaceae, Protea sp., Erica sp., Metalasia struthiola, Poaceae,
Leucospermum, Pinus sp., geophytes.
Shrub from shallow roots, 20-45cm; stems and leaves finely hairy;
leaves deep green, elongate 8-10x6mm, alternate, margins entire;
flowers in terminal clusters of 4-25 heads, 5mm across, disc flowers
yellow with white bracts forming dense clusters.
