Abbott, 2001 South Africa. Kwazulu Natal. Ngeli, Ngeli Forest on 'White" trail, 1.5 hours walk from Lookout Tower, on trail to extreme east of tower following the fence. (No GPS, forest canopy too thick). Elevation: . Moderate southern mountain slope, in shade, in sandstone, with humus and leaf litter, damp. Exotic and occasional. Forest. Perennial scrambler, 3-8, covering a large area. Stems grey, with parallel lines, pubescent. Petiole 10-15 mm long. Leaves alternate, simple, elliptical, 4-8 x 5.5-10 cm, hairy, dark green above, pale green below, margins irregualrly toothed to smooth. Minute stipules present. Robert Brand & P. Swart & N.
