ARUSHA. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ca. 12 km Norhtwest of Endulen
Village in savanna shrub-grassland, classified as lowland "olpurkel" by the
Maasai. Information given by Lepilal Ole Nakuroi and Peter Metele, warriors ca.
30 years.
(35° 12’ E 3° 10’ S). Alt 1700 m.	Apr	27,	1993
Shrub, ray flowers white, disc flowers yellow. Maasai name: orkisaen Used for
arrows as it is very straight and doesn't split when the point is fastened. The
second best islf "osiaiti", and also "esiteti" is used.
