FLORA OF TANZANIA Lis Ellemann Berkheya bipinnatìfìda (Harv.)Roessler Asteraceae NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN ARUSHA. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Ndiyan, 4 km North of Endulen Village. In savanna dominated by grass. Refered as heighland, "osopuko" by the Maasai.' Information given by Ole Nakuroi, ca. 85 years and Lepilal Ole Nakuroi, warrior, ca, 30 year. (35° 16' E 3° 12’ S). Alt. 2000 m. Apr 24, 1993 Herb, flowers yellow. Maasai name: olesirkon (isirkon ~ donkeys). (Not recognised as this by Ole Nakuroi, but other elder).
