KOSRAE: Utwe Municipality. Utwe Ma. Upraised reef area of coral rubble and
sand behind beach, with fringing mangrove vegetation of Rhizophora (2 spp.),
Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Lumnitzera littorea, Sonneratia alba, and shrubs
including Scaevola taccada, Smythea lanceata.
Liana in coastal vegetation. Fruits brown, 1-seeded, washed up as drift on
beach. Seedlings germinating in coral rubble. Voucher for seed collection.
