tree in dense humid forests of wet fertile soil at 3760
rest, south of the Beruring river; stem do feet high with
a 3 foot thick stem, branched from the middle into main
branches whose branchiate widely spread; wood moderately
!®9t on the outside, odorless and tasteless:
bark brown, grayish mottled on the branches, smoothish;
xx leaves descending, folded on the upper much deeper
green surface, recurved especially the tips; chartacecus;
infrutescent stalks ascending, yellowish green, 6 inches
in length; or less fruits globose, olibe green, l/Z to V4
