Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp soil, associates include Myrtaceae,
Euphorbiaceae, Myrsinaceae. Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Small tree 6 m tall, 4.5 cm dbh. Outer bark grey,
rugose, cracking. Inner bark bright brown. Wood
light brownish-yellow. Leaves coriaceous, pale green
beneath. Calyx yellowish-green. Young fruit light
green, covered by pilose white hairs.
