Collected on the Sixth Archbold Expedition sponsored by the American
Museum of Natural History with the aid of a grant from the
Notional Science Foundation.
Plentiful in young second growth rain forest
of a ravine; tree 4—6 m.; leaves somewhat
convex, a rather vitreous pale brown beneath;
flowers pinkish white.
Eastern Highlands District: Mt. Otto, south slopes, alt. 2200 m.
