Locality:
Borneo; W. Kalimantan, Sintang.
Bukit Baka National Park. Southeast of camp along
bank of Sungai Ella.

Habitat:
Mixed dipterocarp forest, associates include
Euphorbiaceae, Dilleniaceae, Myrtaceae,
Burseraceae. Red clay soil.
Field Char:
Tree 8 m till, 13 cm dbh. Outer bark greyish-brown,
smooth. Leaves fleshy. Peduncle 5 cm long,
greenish-white, tinged pink. Flower bud 2 cm long,
calyx cream tinged pink along margin.
