Mixed Dipterocarp forest, associates include: Shorea,
Hopea, Myristica, Elaeocarpaceae. Red Clay soil.
Morphology:
Tree II m tall, 13 cm dbh. Outer bark light brownish-pale
peach, thin, flaking. Inner bark pale yellow, fibrous. Leaves
leathery, veins prominently raised beneath, tertiary veins
distinct. Young flower pale yellowish-green, maroon at apex,
shiny.
